Siglar Carbon provides actionable maritime emissions data to help shipping stakeholders, such as charterers, owners, operators, brokers, and commodity traders, manage and reduce carbon emissions. Our solutions enable users to estimate, analyze, and optimize emissions performance, integrate carbon insights into commercial decisions, and navigate regulations like the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS). The platform offers tools like a Carbon Analyzer, Carbon Ship Finder, and EUA Risk Manager to help control carbon exposure and costs across shipping operations.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON, WHO WILL

Lead the design, development, and optimization of modern, responsive Angular applications.

Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and services with the frontend.

Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior and middle developers.

Lead architecture discussions for frontend systems, ensuring best practices for performance, scalability, and security.

Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure code quality and standards are met.

Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure a seamless user experience across devices.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in Angular and frontend technologies.

Optionally, contribute to backend services when necessary, improving the overall development flow.
A POTENTIAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
-
5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with strong expertise in Angular.
-
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and deep understanding of modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3).

Strong knowledge of web security best practices, including securing data, handling user authentication, and authorization (OAuth, JWT), and protection against common vulnerabilities (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, etc.).

Experience with state management tools (NgRx, RxJS) and front-end testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, etc.).

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of backend services.

Knowledge of component-based architecture and reusable component libraries.

Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and tools.
-
Experience in version control (Git) and working within Agile teams.
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively.

Nice-to-Have: Backend experience in technologies like Node.js, Golang, Python, or familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
