WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON, WHO WILL​

 

Develop and Maintain Onix Application Design System:

  • Create the design system for Onix’s web applications, mobile applications, and Windows applications.

  • Develop UI components, including:

- Specification and styling.

- Design guidelines: Usage, Anatomy, Placement, Responsive layout.

- Behavior guidelines: State, Navigation, Gestures.

- Accessibility guidelines: Use cases, Interaction & style, Keyboard navigation, Labeling.

 

  • Application styling guidelines: Colors, Icons, Shape, Typography, Elevation.

  • Use Figma to develop assets for Product Owners:

- Create Figma components for various applications and scenarios.

- Create Figma styles for various applications and scenarios.

 

Create and Maintain Application Information Architecture:

  • Establish and maintain the information architecture for each application.

 

Develop Design Methods Library and Best Practices:

  • Document design methods and best practices, such as:

- Using skeletons or shimmers in applications.

- Best practices for application responsiveness and feedback.

- Guidelines for using Panels, Modals, and Dialogs.

- Guidelines for material dialogs, banners, and snack bars.

- Component guidelines: Picker (e.g., Equipment picker, product picker, Workflow Path).

- Appropriate use of Delete/Remove/Clear and their icons.

- Application UI writing style guide.

- Table accessibility best practices.

- Etc..

 

Develop Product Backlog (Future Releases):

  • Review and suggest new UI methods.

  • Audit products for UI/UX corrections and adjustments.

  • Ensure consistent application of icons and colors.

  • Use the correct components for the appropriate purposes.

  • Collaborate with Product Priority for prioritization.

Follow Up on Product Development (Current Releases):

  • Review and audit UI designs in the release backlog to ensure adherence to UI/UX guidelines.

  • Conduct biweekly UI design feedback sessions with the Product Owner.

Graphic Design:

  • Provide graphic design on demand.

  • Design and maintain icons.

  • Design and maintain vector images and banners.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously learn and retrospectively improve the product development process.

  • Train and guide the team in UX/UI best practices.

  • Explore and integrate new design systems (e.g., Fluent, Lightning, Material, Carbon) into the Onix design system.

  • Produce monthly Onix Design updates for all Onix team members.

  • Conduct monthly Onix Design training/meetings.

A POTENTIAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE

  • Proven experience as a UI Designer or similar role.

  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Figma).

  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles.

  • Experience with design systems and component libraries.

  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
