Siglar Carbon provides actionable maritime emissions data to help shipping stakeholders, such as charterers, owners, operators, brokers, and commodity traders, manage and reduce carbon emissions. Our solutions enable users to estimate, analyze, and optimize emissions performance, integrate carbon insights into commercial decisions, and navigate regulations like the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS). The platform offers tools like a Carbon Analyzer, Carbon Ship Finder, and EUA Risk Manager to help control carbon exposure and costs across shipping operations.

Our upcoming team will start rebuilding an important statistics part of their product. Later, we can extend to handle other part of the product.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERSON, WHO WILL
-
Develop, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Golang backend services and APIs.

Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decision-making. - Ensure application performance, scalability, and security.

Debug and troubleshoot software issues in development and production environments.
-
Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and CI/CD pipeline.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
A POTENTIAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
-
2-4 years of experience in software development with a focus on backend and frontend technologies.
-
Proficiency in Golang with hands-on experience in developing web services, RESTful APIs, and microservices.
-
Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

Experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus.

Strong knowledge of web security best practices, including securing data, handling user authentication, and authorization (OAuth, JWT), and protection against common vulnerabilities (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, etc.).

Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
-
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
